If someone would have told me 10 years ago that I would be living in a 55+ community in my retirement years, I would have immediately corrected them and told them it would never happen. Never say never!
Eight years ago, my husband and I moved to Florida. After searching for months for a home and becoming very discouraged with the housing market at that time, we happened to pass the entrance to Sugar Creek Manufactured Homes.
And on a whim, we decided to check it out. We were immediately impressed with the beauty of the park, the clean well-maintained landscaping and the attention to detail that made the community look so inviting.
We spotted a for sale sign on a home that caught our eye. We were shown the property that day, made the offer to the owner, and closed within one week.
And on a whim, we found our forever home. From the first day, I can honestly say the management team has exceeded our expectations.
You can choose an active, outdoor lifestyle. Go deep sea fishing in the Gulf of Mexico, just 5 miles from the front door. Pinellas County offers 27 challenging golf courses, 6 of which are located in Largo
The Office Manager, Vicky, leads the entire staff in their dedication to fostering a sense of community. She leads with transparency, which builds trust between management and residents. She is dedicated to professionalism and creating a safe and pleasant environment for all residents. She is approachable and easy to reach out to, communicates well, and keeps all residents informed of any changes or upcoming events.
The Maintenance Staff, Dan, Dave and Benjamin, contribute greatly to the comfort and quality of life in the park. Common areas are always well maintained, and improvements are made regularly to keep the property looking its best. It is apparent they take pride in their work. They are always available if a situation occurs requiring their attention, or if it is just checking in on residents to insure their well-being.
This park is not only a place to live, but a place to call home.

Activities and Facilities
Activities within Sugar Creek will keep you as busy as you want to be. The clubhouse facilities include a heated pool, whirlpool spa, bocce court, shuffleboard courts, horseshoe pits, billiards and a library.
You will enjoy bingo, cards, dice games, and get togethers on the back deck. The calendar of events includes pool parties, pot luck suppers, dances and many special holiday events.
